Supporting profitable, sustainable farming for a resilient future

Creating resilient agricultural systems is vital to feed a growing global population in a nutritionally sufficient way. Extreme weather conditions are likely to be the norm and weaken existing agricultural systems. Adaptation should ensure sustained management of finite and vital natural resources, including soil and water.

A sustainable farming sector is integral to meeting government targets including the 25 Year Environment Plan, Net Zero targets and National Food Strategy.

We are committed to supporting farmers and landowners to deliver profitable, sustainable farming systems producing heathy food whilst taking steps to improve the environment, improve animal health and welfare and reduce carbon emissions.

Our team can provide advice on regenerative farming systems. We have practical experience of regenerative lowland livestock and arable systems adopting the core principles of minimal soil disturbance, maintaining soil cover, diverse rotations and integrating livestock in arable systems.

Reducing emissions and boosting profitability on the path to net zero

The UK Government have legislated to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050. The farming and land use sector in the UK has the potential to make a substantial contribution to this goal by both reducing emissions and increasing carbon sequestration.

To achieve net zero, it is essential for farms to assess their current carbon footprint to identify potential areas for emission reductions and opportunities for improvement. These improvements often align with cost savings and enhanced profitability.

Our team can support your farming business in measuring its carbon footprint and identifying strategic management changes that can lower emissions and enhance carbon sequestration.
