SLME provides comprehensive Ecological/Habitat Management Planning — from initial advice and management ideas to detailed plans and ongoing support. We specialise in sensitive habitats, designated sites, and Biodiversity Net Gain projects, with expertise in grants, restoration, and integration into land-based businesses. We can also provide on-going assistance and practical support during implementation.
Our team has written management plans for a wide variety of habitats and in relation to many different projects. We have a clear understanding of what makes a good plan: it needs to be informed by detailed knowledge of the site concerned; have clear objectives, rationale and structure; be easy to understand and practical to implement.
We have extensive knowledge of land management, including practical experience, in particular integrating ecologically valuable sites within farm and land businesses.
We can also provide practical support in the implementation of the habitat management plan and identify possible grant funding opportunities.
We have experience of producing Habitat Management and Monitoring Plan (HMMP) for Biodiversity Net Gain projects.
